Brahmic Vrittis, Resting Comfortably in the Svarupa, the 4th Dimension

Warmest spiritual greetings to everyone on the planet earth, Am at the Ukiah Public Library having just finished reading the New York Times appreciation of Mikhail Gorbachev. That, plus "all the news that's fit to print", which resulted in sitting in an easy chair, mind resting comfortably in the svarupa (heart chakra), breathing slow and rhythmic, an occasional thought crawling through. The global news was fully digested, with no apparent side effects. Social security money comes in tomorrow, an appointment for September 7th will result in new eye glasses, and otherwise there is nothing whatsoever on the horizon. Considering the psychological hell and material confusion which defines daily life, at least according to The New York Times, maybe it is okay that relaxing in "haiku spelled backwards" is the present situation. But still...contact me if you wish to do anything crucial. I'm available. 🆓☺🆒 Craig Louis Stehr Email: craiglouisstehr@gmail.com Telephone Messages: (707) 234-3270 Share💲Here: PayPal.me/craiglouisstehr da blog: http://craiglstehr.blogspot.com Snail Mail: P.O. The Brahmic Vrittis Take Over

O Jivan Muktas, Awoke early and following morning ablutions at Building Bridges homeless shelter in Ukiah, California, proceeded to bottom line the voluntary trash & recycling chore, finishing at 9AM. Went to the laundry in the shopping complex at S. State Street and Talmage Road. Thomas Cook, out on an amble, dropped in with big stories about past adventures in Mendocino county. Returned to the shelter and put the clothes away. Headed out with a trash bag to pick up litter, and did so all the way to Plowshares, where an impressive free Irish style lunch was served. Walked back on the other side of the street picking up litter,(while dental flossing the corned beef from between the teeth). Took a cold shower upon returning, and then headed out to the Ukiah Co-op for an adaptogenic mushroom drink, and then, floated north on Main Street to the Ukiah Public Library. Am right this minute on a public computer at 4:08PM Pacific Daylight Time. The brahmakara vrittis have taken over! Please contact me if you wish to do anything crucial on the planet earth. Om Namah Shivaya in Ukiah

Upon awakening Sunday morning, began chanting the panchakshara mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" while still in the bed, and kept it going all the day long. (Still going at 8:47PM while sitting on the Building Bridges homeless shelter dorm bed writing this.) Following the morning ablutions, checked the lottery tix at the Express Mart & gas station across the street, and then ambled on to the Ukiah Co-op for a breakfast burrito and French roast organic coffee. A woman named Joanne walked up and inquired if I often submitted my jottings to the Anderson Valley Advertiser, which of course sparked a unique chat. Exited the co-op and walked north toward The Dragon's Lair's new location across from the Goodwill, and then doubled back going east on Brush Street. A woman who used to be at the shelter was out taking a walk, and asked what I was doing on foot in that part of town. I offered that I was walking all over Ukiah chanting ancient vedic mantrams. She said that was a cool thing to do. Eventually arrived at Lucky's supermarket and downed a cold yerba mate to hydrate. Empowered, walked straight south on Orchard Avenue to Gobbi, then headed west to the Safeway for bananas, yoghurt, and mango juice for the evening nourishment. Booked back to the shelter in 15 minutes and took a shower, and then laid down on the bed. The panchakshara mantra continues silently being recited. This practice is an effective alternative to the psychological hell of postmodernism, and the nausea of materialism. It confers immortality and final spiritual liberation. Summer. Ukiah, California. The 4th Dimension.

Huge spiritual greetings to all, Awoke Sunday morning in my bed at Building Bridges homeless shelter in sunny Ukiah, California, and following the voluntary chore of trash & recycling, realized that there was nothing else to do, nowhere to go particularly, and had some money to spend. Walked to WalMart and spent the morning perusing every single aisle. Purchased nothing, and then walked to Applebee's restaurant. Two Sierra Nevadas and a Firestone 805, plus a shot o' Buchanan's Deluxe scotch whiskey, prepped me for the 8 oz. sirloin smothered in shrimp and parmesan sauce, (switching out the broccoli for onion rings of course). Throughout, watched baseball, featuring closeups of former American president George W. Bush in the box with the sportscasters. Left Applebee's and got a chocolate covered king size PayDay for the walk back. Awoke Monday morning, and following the voluntary chore of trash & recycling, walked to the Plowshares Dining Room for a free meal. Returned to my comfortably cool men's dorm room, and stayed there the entire day and night, mostly in the bed, watching the mind's thoughts. That is correct...you got it...spent the entire day and night on Monday doing nothing but watching the mind's activity, as an alternative to pointlessly walking around Ukiah in the heat. This is called "being mindful". There are now magazines devoted to the topic at Safeway. Awoke Tuesday morning, and following the usual morning ablutions, plus the trash & recycling voluntary chore, walked to Plowshares with a trash bag collecting litter along the way. Following another delicious free meal, walked back with the trash bag collecting litter on the other side of South State Street. The City of Ukiah needs to appreciate the fact that the homeless are an asset, not only "not a problem". Hopefully, this will be understood at the time when budgetary considerations are made, and more money may be allocated to serve the needs of the neediest. Meanwhile, am reading "Gleanings from Nisargadatta", containing excerpts of talks from 1976-7, preserved by author Mark West who was at the Jnana Yoga master's place in Mumbai, India. This is the 4th dimension. This is where all of the bullshit stops. You can live there!! Nota bene: The ACER computer has lived out its life. Technicians at RespechTech checked it out thoroughly and have pronounced it dead. RIP. If anybody in postmodern America wants to do anything amazing with me again, leave a message at (707) 234-3270. Or email me at craiglouisstehr@gmail.com. Otherwise, I will continue identifying with that which is prior to consciousness. Hopefully, you are doing the same. 😁📿🆒 Craig Louis Stehr August 23rd, 2022 Anno Domini
