Being Here Now
Warmest spiritual greetings, Left the Catholic Charities homeless shelter early on a cold Monday morning in Washington, D.C. and immediately went to the post office to check if the second attempt at receiving a Chase Bank debit card replacement was successful. It was not. The postal clerk explained to me that in order to receive mail delivered by UPS, the post office street address must be included, as well as the p.o. box number. Secondly, they are flummoxed as to why the first debit replacement card was not delivered, sent regular mail. Then, I went to the Metro Chase Bank branch and explained all. A banker met with me, and ordered yet a third debit replacement card, this time mailing it to the homeless shelter, expedited. He said that when received, come back and he would request that the $15 fee for expediting it be reversed. Hopefully, this will conclude an effort begun November 10th to have the debit card replaced, after I was scammed attempting to purchase a "veteran's designed" American 1776-2026 birthday cap. In actuality, the cap is being manufactured in China, of inferior quality. Some purchasers reported receiving the copy, but no cap was received at all at my p.o. box. The Chase Bank branch on H Street recommended that I order a replacement debit card, since I gave out all of the card information to the scammers. A supervisor was then telephoned, and approval was given to mail it to the p.o. box. In conclusion, the bank will now inform their debit card processing center about the requirements to expedite mail via UPS to a p.o. box, which will spare future customers the inconvenience reported here.
Meanwhile, there is no word yet in regard to my getting any help to receive the D.C. EBT card, which was denied for reasons beyond the absurd. I already contacted the D.C. mayor's office, and the White House president's correspondence group, (whom I am now welcome to interact with).
Lastly, the D.C. Medicaid and United Healthcare-Medicare Advantage OTC cards have not as of yet been received, although everything is approved.
Beyond the mundane drama of daily life in Washington, D.C., (where nothing of any significance is happening just now), I am available to go forth! I may go anywhere at any time, as directed by the Divine Absolute, which makes use of the body-mind complex without interference. Contact me. And if you don't, have a superb holiday season anyway. 😁
