Happy New Year

Hello everyone, Attended the Spanish Mass on Christmas at the Basilica in Washington, D.C., (although I do not know Spanish), and sang along with the program, and then received Holy Communion. Left glowing and smiling all the way to the Metro train station. Enjoyed an evening at the homeless shelter with the usual mix of 1.sincere guests who are correctly utilizing the place in order to obtain all of their benefits, and move on to subsidized housing somewhere on earth, 2.those who are incorrectly there, utilizing the place as a free hotel, 3.committed stoners and juice heads who do not care, and 4.the pleasantly and unpleasantly mentally ill, who don’t know where they are. Many volunteer groups came by, serving an endless amount of holiday themed food, and donated winter clothing. I have no idea what, if anything, this all means.
