The Zen of Non-Doing in Washington, D.C.

Warmest spiritual greetings, Following an insane weekend at the homeless shelter, featuring a malfunctioning fire department alarm, outside fighting resulting from the usual extreme intoxication and stoner behavior, and general chaos inside after the 10 o'clock p.m. lights are turned off, I have contacted the Department of Human Services requesting that I be moved into an interim residential situation while continuing to pursue senior subsidized housing in America's national capital. So far, I have been contacted by a representative of DHS asking for my birth date. Today, I have $5,300 in the bank and wallet, with around $1400 incoming from Social Security near the first of the month. There is an EBT account, and also enough health insurance for a family of four. As this world continues to implode in every possible way, what would you like to do??? I am available on the planet earth for spiritually directed action! I can leave Washington, D.C., or I could remain here. My main concern is to hold fast to the constant (i.e. one's spiritual center); and not interfere with what is happening outwardly. Let the Dao work through! This is the Way. ☯️ If this message resonates with you, please contact me.
