I am identified with "that which is prior to consciousness", id est, not the body and not the mind. Rather, that which works through the body-mind complex. The reason that I do not have more social security income is because I spent the past 50 years involved in peace and justice activism, which included 23 years of serving the American people free of charge with Catholic Worker and related voluntary social service groups. I want to move on. I wish to be active, not passive, on the planet earth in these dire days of environmental implosion, economic instability, and spiritual confusion. I am particularly seeking opportunity in the Washington, D.C. area, where I have been 15 times since June of 1991 as a part of the 24/7 anti nuclear vigil in front of the White House, and also volunteered at the Zacchaeus Kitchen at 11th & G Streets, and bottom lined the pots 'n pans station at D.C. Occupy as a part of the kitchen working group, and have written extensively about all of it, which was published all over the place, both on and off line. I request assistance to leave Mendocino County and relocate to Washington, D.C. because it is an alternative to being in Ukiah doing nothing of any particular importance, (aside from performing a voluntary chore of taking care of the trash & recycling at the homeless shelter). Spiritual Message for the Age of Kali

~No Yesterday, No Tomorrow, No Today~ Following an absolutely splendid afternoon yesterday at The Pub (585 N. State Street, Ukiah, CA) quaffing three pints of Russian River’s Blind Pig plus a shot of Woodford Reserve, played every blues tune on the juke box and met many more local residents with generational intertwined regional histories. Awoke early today, and following morning ablutions, bottom lined the trash & recycling chore at Building Bridges homeless shelter, and then hoofed it down to the Catholic Worker Plowshares Dining Room for another sumptuous meal. Today’s fare featured sliced pork, rice, steamed squash, salad, apple sauce, slices of pear, bread, a piece of cherry pie, and a beverage. As well, their prices are unbeatable, since it is all free! Nota bene: carried a trash bag and picked up litter on both sides of S. State Street. Am right this moment at the Ukiah Public Library on a computer, about to read today’s New York Times to enjoy “all the news that’s fit to print”. And then, it’s off to Schat’s Bakery for a java jolt. And then, and then, and then…MIND ABSORBED IN THE ABSOLUTE…NO PLACE TO GO!!! Warmest spiritual greetings, The weather has cooled on the California north coast, as the Autumn season begins replacing the oven-like days, and rain, blessed rain, is forecasted to hydrate the parched region. Life at the Building Bridges homeless shelter in Ukiah goes on. The free meals at the Catholic Worker Plowshares Kitchen are sumptuous and open to all. Praise the Lord! Mendocino county social services continue to assist those in need of everything, from medical and dental to basic housing to employment to whatever it is that one requires in the American experiment in freedom and democracy, and for whatever reason one does not have. I am doing nothing of any crucial importance presently, and am available to intervene in history, in order to destroy the demonic and return this world to righteousness. If you are telling me that you are on the spiritual path, then you know that there is no other reason to be on the planet earth than to do this. For the liberated, it is the reason that we are here. And beyond that, we may drop these body-mind instruments and go up. This is the view of a Jivan Mukta. I would first and foremost like to exit the homeless shelter in order to give the bed up to one of the campers outside. I would like to hook up with others who realize that we must let the Dao work through us without interference, because realistically, this is the will of God. It has been a splendid past six months in Mendocino County: rent free accomodations at the Building Bridges homeless shelter in Ukiah, CA, a $21,000 expenditure for a heart pacemaker which the insurance paid for. two stainless steel crowns and a cleaning at a dental office in Sonoma County paid for by the insurance, eye exam plus new eye glasses on the way also paid for by the insurance, and free meals at the Catholic Worker inspired Plowshares Dining Room. That left $800 social security monthly plus LOTTO winnings to finance an irregular visit to The Forest Club for $3 pints & a shot, playing all of the blues on the juke box, and am welcome back at any time. Dropped by The Forest Club in downtown Ukiah, California Thursday afternoon and enjoyed three pints of Sierra Nevada Hazy Beer plus two shots of bartender recommended Pendleton whiskey, brewed in Oregon. Sufficiently empowered, proceeded to play all of the blues on the juke box, choosing artists who covered the compositions, as opposed to the performers who made the tunes famous. This resulted in discovering some real gems on the juke box. For two hours, participated in lively conversations with the other patrons, while occasionally watching the sports screen. Awoke happy and fully satisfied Friday morning. Following the usual ablutions so I appear clean and bright all day, co-bottomlined the trash & recycling chore at Building Bridges homeless shelter, and then headed out to the Ukiah Co-op for a black bean burrito and French roast coffee. Am presently on a computer at the Ukiah Public Library, and soon will read The New York Times newspaper. Will eventually drop by the SBMC for some wallet money, and then it's off to Safeway to purchase evening food to get me through the night. In fact, I have no idea whatsoever what lies beyond the present moment. I have no idea whatsoever why I am in Mendocino county. I have no idea whatsoever why we are even on the planet earth. I have no idea whatsoever about why this mind has no idea whatsoever about anything at all.
